We are convinced that corporate social responsibility is an element of success for the future of our Group.
Our approach, which consists in taking into account the requirements related to the sustainable development in our corporate strategy, allows us to better control inherent risks in our activity, while optimising our processes and our internal modes of organisation in order to reduce our environmental footprint.
Corporate social responsibility, which we define as our ability to provide consistent and sustainable answers to the expectations of our stakeholders in the economic, social, societal and environmental domains, becomes a turning point of improvement of our global performance, in addition to being a moral commitment.
an ambitious strategy
Our corporate social responsibility strategy is based on two principles. It is based primarily on the identification and prioritization of requirements of sustainable development related to our activities, founded at the same time on the analysis of the expectations of our stakeholders and on the valuation of risks and opportunities in regard to sustainable development.
Our commitment is then guided by the determination of three strategic priorities for the 2008/2012 period: "include", "preserve" and "care". Validated by the Group's Management Committee, this strategy is inflected on all of our entities, in all our professions, and follows an ambitious objective: to make Orange the leader of the telecommunications area in corporate social responsibility before 2012.
