Orange TV celebrates Christmas in 3D music, fashion, sport, cinema…programs to satisfy all tastes!

For Christmas, 3D is coming to the homes of Orange customers in France, thanks to a special programming schedule on Orange TV's 3D channel and video on demand service. Get into the heart of the images!

A pioneer for 3D, Orange launched a dedicated channel on Orange TV on May 23 this year, for the French Tennis Open. This service is freely available to Orange broadband customers with High Definition TV (fiber, ADSL or satellite), equipped with a 3D screen and glasses.
This 3D channel offers spectacular events for the whole family. And from December 11, it will also be offering free programs on demand, accessible using the OK button on your remote.
To celebrate Christmas, Orange TV's Channel 30 has put together a free comprehensive program of entertainment in 3 dimensions. Who has never dreamt of being on stage, getting into the ring, standing on a podium or surfing the waves, all from your sofa? Thanks to Orange's special holiday 3D program schedule, all of this is now possible!

Omar Porras, the Swiss-Columbian director, born in Bogota and based in Geneva, has created with Teatro Malandro an extravagant and joyful production of Scapin's Deceits. He draws out Molière's farce, moving towards commedia dell’arte, locating the action in a very lively present day bar, straight out of a cartoon.

Slava Snowshow

Slava Polunin, a leading contemporary Russian clown, borrowing his gestures from Marceau and Chaplin, is a legend in Russia. His performances have been seen by millions of spectators. His famous "Snowshow" has travelled around the world over the past 15 years before arriving in France, where it has been a resounding success.

Balé de Rua ("street ballet")

Show filmed during the Biennale de la Danse in Lyon in October 2010. Created through an artistic collaboration with the director Français Paul Desveaux, Balé de Rua tells the Afro-Brazilian story of a group from working-class districts in a small town in Minas Gerais, Uberlândia, through dance.

A documentary on haute couture fashion shows, CATWALK-3D is the first fashion program in 3D. It takes us to the heart of the magical moments from the Paris Haute Couture Week: the Autumn-Winter 2010-2011 collections from July, with Jean-Paul Gaultier, Stéphane Rolland, Christophe Josse, Georges Hobeika and Franck Sorbier.

As well as blockbuster 3D movies with pay-per-view VOD on Orange TV!

From December 11, and for the first time, Orange will be offering two blockbuster films from 2010 exclusively and in 3D with its Video on Demand service: A Turtle's Tale and The Clash of the Titans.

A Turtle's Tale, the year's hit family adventure in 3D
In partnership with Studiocanal, Orange is offering a pay-per-view 3D VoD exclusive from December 11 to 31 (inclusive) with "A Turtle's Tale", one of the most successful animations from 2010, seen by more than 1.2 million spectators in cinemas.

The Clash of the Titans, a blockbuster action movie in 3D VoD
In partnership with Warner Bros. Digital Distribution, Orange is offering "The Clash of the Titans" as a pay-per-view 3D VoD exclusive from December 11 to January 2 (inclusive), one of the year's top action films seen by 2 million cinemagoers in 2010.
