Paris, January 15, 2009On December 1, 2008, Serge Laroye was named head of strategic planning and development
within Orange content management.
Laroye’s role involves implementing Group content strategic planning and deployment
in countries where the Orange brand is present. He reports to Xavier Couture,
Orange director of content.
Before joining Orange, Laroye had been assistant director of TF1 Digital since
2000. He had previously held several roles within the Bouygues group: assistant
director to the president of TF1 from 1998 to 2000, general secretary of TV channel
LCI from 1994 to 1998, head of accounts and finance from 1992 and internal auditing
manager from 1986 to 1991.
Mr Laroye is 48 and has a degree and finance and strategy from Paris-Dauphine
University.
