Far from being simply a popular trend, we are committing ourselves through some very precise goals: to reduce our CO2 emissions by 20% and our energy consumption by 15% by 2020; and through concrete actions: to measure, monitor and limit our energy consumption.
This challenge implies a change in our way of working at the very core of our business – telecommunications networks and associated IS which use 66% of our energy consumption.
The Group’s people who design, deploy and maintain these networks and IS are working each day to invent ways to deliver our services to our customers more efficiently whilst consuming fewer natural resources, using alternative forms of energy and optimising waste production.
