Marko Erman

Marko Erman is graduated from Ecole Polytechnique (X75) and Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications. He performed his doctorate thesis at Orsay University and his thèse d'Etat in Sciences at Pierre et Marie Curie University

Having been Director of Exploratory Research Division and of the Division of Professional Imaging Labs Philips Electronics (SARA), he joined Alcatel in 1991. In 1993 he was appointed Director of the Optoelectronics Division within the Corporate Research Centre, and in 1997, Director of Optical Systems. In 2001 he was appointed Technical Director and Director of Strategy of Alcatel Optronics. In 2003, he joined the Thales Group, as Director of Research and Technology of "Terre et Interarmées" Systems. In April 2009, Marko Erman takes the function of Technical Director, Research and Technology of the Group. In February 2010, Marko Erman joined the group executive committee.
