Both telecommunications supplier and network operator, the group has the ambition to provide its customers with the best technology, as soon as it is available, while taking into consideration up and coming technological developments. In pursuit of this goal, the group has strengthened its efforts in innovation by making it a major strategic focus. With original management and the worldwide network of Orange Labs, the group hopes above all to simplify and enrich for its customers the uses of telecommunications today and tomorrow.

Established in February 2006, the main mission of the Technocentre (member of the Orange Labs network) is to structure the launch of innovative services in order to increase the group’s speed and responsiveness in all its markets. This is organised around teams combining all expertise and developing a common working methodology, which manages products and services development cycles.

the launch of convergent offers 
These are the heart of the New Experience in Telecommunications. In addition to sales convergence (single contract, single customer service and single bill), they bring customers a seamless experience in communication services (voice, e-mail, SMS, instant messaging), call management services (voice mail, addressbook, presence) and content services (movies, television, sport, music), whatever channel (fixed-line, mobile or Internet), handset or network is used.

the new policy of the Orange brand
On June 1 2006, the group launched the Orange brand: as a single brand for the internet, television and mobile telephony, a leading brand for a new universe of digital services.


Optimisation and quality
The group is pursuing its strategy of network integration, information system and service platforms with three objectives: to improve service quality; to allow and to accelerate the launch of innovative convergent offers; and to optimize resources and investment.
