Orange Slovakia, partner of the sport N°1 in Slovakia

Orange is the sport No. 1 partner in Slovakia since 2006,  which has a long tradition, have an important place in the International Hockey and brings together fans of all ages.

Orange supports Slovak ice hockey being a partner of the Slovak Hockey Federation, the Slovak national team and it under 20 year’s team as well as being the telecommunications partner of the Ice Hockey Slovak National League. The objective is to support both the national team but also to develop this practice among young people and give fans exclusive products.
Thus, during major tournaments and world championships, Orange offers hockey fans a range of services in the form of images, ringtones, games and recently the opportunity to follow the main live matches on their mobile.


Slovak Para-Olympic Committee
In collaboration with the Slovak Para-Olympic committee, Orange Slovakia organized, among other things, a fundraiser via SMS since 2005. The resources collected have helped to support projects aimed at young people and the athletes’ Para-Olympic preparation.

On the other hand, Orange also supports the development of the practice among young people or charities through the ice hockey national team. During the last 3 World Championships for each goal scored, a donation was made by Orange for a good cause. Thus, the equivalent of more than € 34 000 have been redistributed between the association INFODOM and the training of young Slovak ice hockey in 2006. Large amount of money was donated to the support of young hockey players under 16 and regional youth hockey camps in 2007 and 2008.
