outstanding recognition for Orange in the Dominican Republic

Mercado Media Network, the Dominican Republic's leading business magazine, celebrated its 15th anniversary on March 31.
This event also represented an opportunity to honor prominent figures from the business world as well as the country’s top firms.
These prizes, recognizing the 45 most admired companies for each sector, were awarded by the President of the Dominican Republic, Leonel Fernandez Reyna, and Patricia De Moya, Chairman of Mercado Media Network.
Orange Dominican Republic received two awards:

- The award for the most appreciated foreign company in the Dominican Republic.
- Orange came in 6th in the general ranking for the most appreciated businesses.
Orange is not the only foreign company on this list, but - present in the country since November 2000 – it is certainly the youngest.

Frédéric Debord, Orange Dominican Republic’s Chief Executive Officer, received the award from the President of the Republic and the Chairman of Mercado Media Network. Orange has already been part of this ranking for five years, with this selection based on surveys carried out by the prestigious firm Read & Asociados, analyzing the preferences of people in the Dominican Republic in several economic sectors making up their society.
