Orange supporting young Austrian talent at the Frequency Festival

August 17, 2009 - Orange and music go back a long way together. In line with its commitment to all musical talent, Orange is supporting Austria's leading festivals, including Frequency, Nuke, Lovely Days and Nova Rock.

The three-day Frequency Bands festival will be taking place from August 20 to 22 at Green Park / St. Pölten in Vienna on seven different stages, with one – the Orange Open Stage -reserved for new talent.
Orange will be offering an incredible opportunity for the best acts to win a starter package, an ideal way to get their musical career off the ground.
Young artists had up until July 1 to register on a dedicated internet site and try their luck. Then, the community of voters selected the winners who will be performing at the Frequency Festival Lumière d'Europe.

Orange will also be giving the winners a serious amount of help, with the starter package including:
participation in the MTV show "All Eyes on..." in a special edition focusing on Austrian music and the Frequency Festival,
one hour performing on the goTV show "hosted by ..." covering the winning group from the Orange Open Stage,
exclusive stage, performance and music coaching sessions with Universal Music.
