for the first time the BAFTA ceremony broadcast live in France on the Orange channel cinémax

BAFTA trophyPresented by Thierry Chéze (Ciné Live) and Bruno Cras (Europe 1). Orange cinema series broadcasts exclusively and for the first time in France the ceremony Orange British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA). The ceremony will be broadcast from the Royal Opera in London and broadcast live on Orange cinémax on Sunday 8 February at 20:40 just two weeks before the Oscar ceremony in Hollywood.
BAFTA’s partner since 12 years, Orange launched in 2006, the Orange Rising Star Award. In 2007, the winner was Eva Green and Shia LaBeouf in 2008.

Michael Cera (in Juno)
Noel Clarke (in Heartless)
Michael Fassebender (in Hunger)
Rebecca Hall (in Frost/Nixon and Vicky Christina Barcelona)
Toby Kebbell (in Rocknrolla)

the nominees for the BAFTA Best Film Award are:
The reader by Stephen Daldry
Slumdog Millionnaire by Danny Boyle
David Frost Interviews Richard Nixon by Ron Howard
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button by David Fincher
Milk by Gus Van Sant

Last years winners were, Daniel Day-Lewis as leading actor in There Will Be Blood by Paul Thomas Anderson and Marion Cotillard as leading actress for her interpretation of Edith Piaf in La vie en rose by Olivier Dahan. Javier Bardem supporting actor in No country for old men and Tilda Swinton supporting actress in Michael Clayton. All of them were as well winners of an Oscar.
